Stainless steel picture hanging cables
Our Gallery Stainless Steel Cable System uses cables to hang and display your hanging picture from a sturdy aluminum track. These picture hanging cables may be moved along the track to any position. The cables are stronger than they look. The cables are very unobtrusive, measuring only 1.2 mm in diameter, so that the viewer's attention is focused on the art and not on the system hanging the art.
Our picture cable hanging systems are contemporary looking and easy to use. The systems offer several hook options and two cable length options. Each cable is capable of holding 66 pounds and can hold multiple pictures. Although the weight limit is 44 pounds per hook, pictures weighing up to 90 pounds can be supported by using two hooks.
Clear tape picture cable hanging systems
Our Gallery Clear Tape System is also unobtrusive, especially on white walls. The tape system uses the same aluminum track as the stainless steel cable picture hanging system, but instead of using the steel picture hanging cables, this system uses clear polypropylene tapes to hang your pictures. The clear tape hangers can also slide to any positions along the track to personalize your displays. The tape can be cut to the specific lengths you need for your art display.
Compared to our stainless steel picture cable hanging systems, the clear tape system has a lower weight limit. Each cable is capable of holding 33 pounds and each can hold multiple pictures. Although the weight limit is 22 pounds per hook, pictures weighing up to 45 pounds can be supported by using two hooks.
Our tracks are available in a satin anodized or white finish. A wood moulding covering is also available to fit over the aluminum track giving a more traditional look.
